Jennifer Skylark and the Seagull’s Handbook
Sat 27 July – Sun 11 August 2013

Join us as we return to the atmospheric Electrician’s Basement at Trinity Buoy Wharf, home to last year’s sell-out family hit Balthazar’s Bazaar of the Bizarre, for an all new site-specific family show.

When an unfortunate twist of fate separates Jennifer from her guardian Uncle, she finds herself on board a giant ship destined for Australia. As her unexpected nautical adventure unfolds, her strange surroundings bring to life Jennifer’s ingenious imagination, conjuring up a variety of weird and wonderful companions to help her on her way. Storytelling, puppetry, and live music combine to form this fantastical interpretation of factual events, marking the exciting debut of new theatre company Powderkeg.
