It has been a very exciting time working for Conran Estates this month.
It is no secret that many of the public deem estate agency as an industry full of Charlatans. Whilst there are some of these Charlatan types operating in the agency world, it is the few and not the many! Most agents love serving the customer and adding serious value to each transaction – me included. Value may be via selling / letting a property for a great price or ensuring that once a transaction is tied up then the deal goes through – this is the really tough part of the job by the way!
Every single staff member at Conran Estates knows that their job is to add serious value and to serve each customer to an exceptional standard – this is why I want to shout out about two National Awards we have won this month.
At the prestigious EA Masters (formerly The Sunday Times Property Awards), in collaboration with Rightmove, they mystery Shopped 26,000 estate agency offices (yes there are that many of us). Following this extensive mystery shopping exercise and further due diligence, Conran Estates were considered exceptional and in the top 1% in the United Kingdom and presented with an award.
The next award we won was The British Property Awards. Again, this was measured based on a comprehensive mystery shopping exercise to which we were awarded ‘Gold’. I personally prefer awards which are based on physical evidence and human achievement as there are many awards which are judged on putting in an application form with no proof of quality!
