Congratulations, you’re a business member of Greenwichmums – you obviously recognise that technology has changed the way we do things as consumers and digital marketing is a great way to promote your company.
However, our services are no magic pill. Although it is very tempting to sit back expecting customers to now come walking through your door automagically – I really wouldn’t advocate it. Instead here are a few tips to help you get the most of your membership with us.
1. Tell people about it
We do alot of marketing on your behalf. It’s fair to say we are huge on Social Media locally (check our Facebook or Twitter profiles to see for yourself) but it is fact that the more positive reviews you have on your services with us, the better. And we cannot write more than 1 review ourself!
Reviews are crucial because according to a study by Google the top two things people did when shopping for a new product or service were (1) Search Online and (2) Ask a Friend. Our online reviews deliver both and they come with every Greenwichmums membership – all you need to do is motivate your customers to visit the site and write one.
To help you do that we can give you flyers, posters and decals for your windows. We can provide badges for your website or Facebook page linking directly to your mini-site with us. For a small cost, we can even create co-branded postcards you can give customers with your details already printed on them.
2. Complete your details and keep them upto date
With options for a Company Blog, Image Gallery, Location Map and Video, a Greenwichmums mini-site has more than most to complete. But each has it’s reason to be there, take video for instance. If a picture speaks a thousand words imagine how many a 30 second full HD video delivers about your offering. If it is incomplete though, it’s worthless.
So, my second tip would be to make sure your mini-site has all the content area’s completed and then kept upto date. There is little worse than discovering someone wanted to buy your product or service and couldn’t find your contact details.
3. Use all your allocations
You get alot with a Greenwichmums Business Membership. Special Event listings, Email Marketing Slots, Social Media Campaigns, Web Banners, Speed Networking and Job Ad’s – it can be alot to take in.
Especially if you are only used to traditional print advertising.
The allocations are there to be used, we want you to make the most of them and don’t make any additional revenue if businesses don’t. A great way of remembering is to set a reminder in your calendar, we’d recommend you do that. Ideally we’d like to prompt every business individually so no one forgets – but with over 200 clients I’m afraid it’s beyond our reach. Sorry!
Complete these three steps and you are well on your way to getting the best value for money from working with us. There, all done. Now sit back and relax.
