We provide Introductory Candle Workshops and Natural Beauty Workshops.

Our mission is to provide affordable workshops, that are better value, that teach real and repeatable skills. In an environment that is non-formal, in a way that is easy and fun.

Giggles are compulsory. You will leave the workshops with the confidence to go home and start making your own hand-made candles or beauty products.

The one day workshops run from 10am-4pm. We aim to provide one weekday and one weekend date throughout the month.We also offer one-to-one workshops at an additional cost.

We Say…

The last time I had a go at candle making was back in the New Year of 1993 with a dodgy hobby craft kit, with naff colour’s and even naffer smells – cant say that this little hobby stayed with me much past February . So I was really unsure what to expect when attending a recent Lumiere de Londres workshop. It was blowing a blizzard down at the Second Floor Studios. But inside was all warm, cosy and smelt divine. Sakeena my tutor, was very experienced and full of passion and put me at ease. (I was a bit nervous)
I spent a whole day making Rose, chunk, scented and aromatherapy candles and learning the differences between waxes & wicks. When you spend day after day chasing around small kids and running a business this was pure indulgence and really cleared my mind. I came home refreshed, with a bag full of my own candle art and lots of information. So If you like crafty things and Sakeena also does Natural Beauty workshops by the way, then this is certainly for you. My works of art are still setting in a safe place – but will be appearing on the GMUMSHQ dining table soon!
