This Easter, Sadler’s Wells and Akram Khan bring you the joyous reimagining of Rudyard Kipling’s classic Jungle Book!
Experience the story of Mowgli, a climate refugee, as he embarks on an adventure to find a home and build bonds with those around him while respecting nature. This theatrical journey uniquely looks at our relationship with the natural world, featuring a sensational original score by Jocelyn Pook, ten incredible dancers, and stunning visuals from YeastCulture.
Featuring an original score by award-winning composer and musician Jocelyn Pook, ten international dancers and state-of-the-art animation and visuals by YeastCulture, Jungle Book reimagined tells a story about our intrinsic need to belong and bond with others, placing respect for our natural world at its heart. The show is set in a deserted city that Nature has reclaimed.
On Friday, 7 & Saturday, 8 April, there will be a specially curated menu of free arts and crafts activities across the theatre foyers, inspired by the show that audiences can take part in. The Fox Garden Court cafe will also offer family-friendly food.
