We launched this exciting venture on Saturday 27th February after nearly 6 years and 3 buildings of planning!
Our ethos for the centre is a creative community hub for kids aged 0-11 and their parents. A real one stop shop from catching a children’s theatre show or activity to grabbing a coffee in a large family café where your children’s noise won’t annoy any other diners.
We also have shops to browse and buy things from gifts and balloons to books and clothes, an under 5s soft play room, messy play art studio and sensory room to make the centre all inclusive.
Our music room offers some of the best quality music education around and we even have a parents provison of renting a desk to get a few hours – half day or full day – of work done in peace and quiet. Our children’s hair salon makes haircuts fun and interactive and the main space is perfect for running free or performing on our stage to your favoutite song.
On our garden balcony you can enjoy family games or chill on a sofa with a book from the library, even catch up on your homework! Weekend events and activities encourage full family inclusion, ever changing to cater to all tastes from small workshops to large discos and concerts.
The centre is free to enter and open 9-5 7 days a week. You can then chose to pay for the elements if you want (e.g the soft play room is £5 entry for 1 x 1-5 yr old, £8 for 2 x 1-5yr olds and free for under 1s).
So you can take your pick and do as little or as much as you like when you join us 🙂 …
