About this event:
Have you heard about The Mouse and His Child at the NOW Gallery?
Music from Kit Wilmans Fegradoe and reading from Samantha Spiro.
This event is suitable for: All ages
The artistic duo are creating a sculptural library space with a raspberry ripple rug, coconut tables, trifle stools, and a unique worm-like sausage sculpture holding down a stupendous, lit balloon.
The focus of the books available to read in this haven will be literature for children by novelists who usually write adult fiction. Did you know that Virginia Woolf wrote a children’s book called The Widow and the Parrot?
This new space is inspired by childhood classic The Mouse and His Child written by Russell Hoban and illustrated by Lillian Hoban. The books chosen speak of child-like themes but tap into an adult psyche, creating an exhibition for everyone.
Come and connect to your inner child, have a drink and enjoy sophisticated nursery food by Craft London.
