Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust invites its friends, partners and the public to come and celebrate the end of this era as well as ring in the new, at its special ‘Flying the Nest at Greenwich Heritage Centre’ celebratory event on Saturday 7 July, in the knowledge that it will be reappearing on the Arsenal in the not too distant future. Be inspired by our collections and produce beautiful images including watercolour painting, pastel drawings and collage. Activities and materials are recommended for those aged 4+ but younger children are welcome to join in with the help of their families. Find out about the history of the Royal Artillery in Woolwich with guided tours of our exhibition, Making Woolwich - Behind the Scenes Tours
12 noon and 2pm
Take a peek in our store room and find out about some of the weird and wonderful objects and documents in our collections. Please note that we are able to accommodate up to 8 people per tour because of limited space in the storeroom. This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years.
