Greenwich Peninsula’s Urban Village Fete is set to return again this year with another unique, quirky and modern twist on the traditional summer fete.

Following the great success of previous events, Greenwich Peninsula and Hemingway Design are reuniting for the FREE, Urban Village Fete in one of the capital’s most exciting cultural districts. Celebrating the best in design, music, art, with innovative events & modern craftsmanship.
The free day out will feature a range of designer marketplaces, street food, design hubs, artist interventions, diverse and quirky events, art and design workshops, walkabout entertainment, music, dance classes and unique pop-ups.
There are interactive workshops and cultural activities for all ages ranging from talks by BBC Radio London’s Robert Elms.
This year’s Urban Village Fete will see the triumphant return of Gilles Peterson to the DJ decks, along with Touching Base, Jazz Re: Freshed and Ruby Savage, William Lv.
As well as the welcome addition of successful roaming walkabout acts, you can take part in embroidery to clay modelling, dance and perfume making.
Greenwich Peninsula is an emerging new district for London and a cultural hotspot with recent and forthcoming design and lifestyle collaborations with luminaries from across the worlds of art, design and architecture.
Hemingway Design Founded by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway in 1981, HD has grown into a multi-disciplinary and award-winning design agency, which is now led by two generations of the Hemingway family and a pool of talented designers.
