Join us for an evening of astronomy, with a planetarium show (The Sky Tonight), a chance to look through our 18-tonne Victorian telescope and some time on the Meridian Line with amazing views and a hot drink.
The evening provides an opportunity to visit the Observatory after hours and to meet a number of different astronomers with whom you can discuss topics from historical astronomy right through to the contemporary exploration of the universe.
Please note that rain, cloud or high winds may prevent observing. If this happens unique footage taken through the telescope will be projected through the eyepiece to provide an experience very similar to the real thing. No refunds are possible.
Please note that the only access to the historic Great Equatorial Telescope dome is via a staircase and is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
