Make this festive season extra special for your little ones by visiting Father Christmas at the Greenwich Market Grotto, set in London’s best historic market.

Your children will experience the magic of Christmas the moment they step into our Grotto. They will be warmly greeted by Santa’s little helpers, who will keep them entertained with free Christmas arts and crafts before leading them in to see Santa himself!
Greenwich Market is the perfect place to experience the joy of Christmas as the beautiful historic market is a treasure trove of unique stalls, boutique shops and a feast of world food stalls! During December, the Market will stay open for late night shopping every Wednesday until 6-8pm.
For those children who simply cannot wait to give their Christmas list to Father Christmas, the Grotto will open during the Greenwich Lantern Parade on Wednesday 22 November. The Ugly Sisters from Greenwich Theatre’s production of Cinderella will be entertaining the crowd and then switching on the lights. Santa will be in the market to meet families from 3pm and the grotto will be open 4-7pm.
This year the Greenwich Market Grotto is brought to you by Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice. Our expert team is super excited to be able to bring all our experience and knowledge, gained from running the Christmas Grotto at the Broadway Shopping Centre in Bexleyheath, to Greenwich Market.
All proceeds from the Grotto will go towards providing our excellent care and support to families.
