Postnatal Pilates Kidbrooke – bring your baby!
After birth, your body continues to change and it’s a crucial time for your body to recover from the pregnancy and birth. While you may be keen to start exercising immediately, it’s important to wait at least 6 weeks before joining a class.
Postnatal Pilates can help you to:
- Improve your posture
- Restore you pelvic floor and abdominal muscles
- Stretch and reduce tightness around shoulders and back from breastfeeding and looking after your baby
- Tone up after pregnancy
- Recover from Diastasis Recti or prolapses (if any)
- Relieve stress
Babies are welcome to join in the class with you (yes even the crying ones!). The class is also a great place to meet another new mums, sharing tips and stories about your new lives and supporting each other. You can join the Postnatal class from 6 weeks postpartum, 10 weeks from caesarean and 12 weeks from emergency caesarean. Parking is available on site, bus B16 and 178 stops right outside.
