About this event:
Puppetry, shadows, illusion and music combine to create a show with something for all ages. The classic tale of a puppet that wants to be a real boy, and the puppet-maker who wants to be a real father is brought lovingly to real life!
This event is suitable for: 4 - 7 years, 8 - 12 years, 13 - 16 years, 16 years+
This event costs: £7 (single ticket); £24 (family pack - 4 tickets)
Steve Tiplady, as Geppetto, uses the objects of a carpenter’s workshop to tell the tale. Pinocchio is carved on stage, brushes become a fox and the shadow of two saws transforms into a giant shark. An element of improvisation makes each performance unique to its audience.
