An immersive theatrical reinvention of Dickens’s classic Christmas story, with live music, humour and captivating characters.

Greenwich & Lewisham Young People’s Theatre present a musical adaptation of ‘A Christmas Carol‘ by the award winning writer Brendan Murray. Murray is the writer behind the previous successes Robin Hood (2014) and Beauty and the Beast (2015).
It will bring vividly to life in Victorian England and explore Dicken’s themes of social inequality, personal responsibility and the redeeming power of myth, family and community.
Performed by four talented actor musicians, in the appropriately industrial setting of The Tramshed (Woowich), this production with feature an original score adapted from traditional carols, puppetry and anarchic humourto create a show that draws heavy on the beauty of the original language but is also accessible enough to enthral anyone unfamiliar with the original novella.
A fun and thoughtful festive treat for any audience. All just down the road in Woolwich!
