The Bob Hope Theatre
The play documents Pip’s journey from his childhood at the Smithy on the Kent marshes to his hopes of new found wealth in London on the promise of Great Expectations.
On the way we meet the good, honest Blacksmith Joe Gargery, the bitter and troubled Miss Havisham, the beautiful Estella groomed to break Pip’s heart, the eccentric Uncle Pumblechook and the escaped convict, Magwitch, whose life is turned around by the kindness of the seven year old Pip.
There will also be a matinee performance on Saturday 28 May at 2.30pm.
