About this event:
‘It wasn’t a particularly spectacular night, as she sat stargazing in her room…’
In The Girl Who Fell In Love with the Moon you can join this tattered troupe as Luna’s tragic tale unravels for the first time. But why tonight?
A Tim Burton-esque patchwork of puppetry, poetry, movement and live music stitched together with The Human Zoo’s explosive visual imagination.
The Human Zoo Theatre Company have been mentored by Les Enfants Terribles and Lee Simpson (Co-Artistic Director of Improbable and Comedy Store Player) and are supported by The Castle, Wellingborough.
5 stars “a beautiful, whimsical tale told by five consummate storytellers… It is performed with panache as the company weaves its magic on the audience, who were totally absorbed and enthralled. A must-see show.” British Theatre Guide
4 stars “Mesmerising” A Younger Theatre
“There are shades of Tim Burton, Amanda Palmer and Les Enfants Terribles (who mentored this project ) to the Human Zoo Theatre Company’s quirky anthology of star-gazing short tales, and it’s a well-worked aesthetic.” The Scotsman
Location: Greenwich Theatre, Crooms Hill, Greenwich, London, SE10 8ES
