About this event:
The sea is a scary place… This Halloween, join the skeleton crew at the National Maritime Museum for a day of spooky fun, activities and stories.
Come dressed in your fearsome finest and meet us in our AHOY! gallery for more ghosts and mythical monsters than you can shake a tentacle at!
Sirens, sea-monsters, pirates, mermaids and sharks are all invited to show off their glad rags in a spooky voyage through the Museum. The scariest denizens of Davey Jones Locker might even win a prize!
Head to the Bermuda Triangle and create your very own dragons, serpents and tidal terrors!
Help our sea-witch in training brew up monstrous myths and loathsome legends of the deep, and get a watery keepsake!
Go on a ghost hunt around the Museum and see if you can find our resident gallery ghosts!
Build a haunted wreck in our Learning Space, and listen to our skeleton pirate recount tales of ghost-ships and spooky goings on at sea!
