Bring a picnic and blanket and watch the BBC’s VE Day concert live on the Big Screen.
There will be performances from Pixie Lott, Gregory Porter, Laura Wright, Katherine Jenkins, Rebecca Ferguson, Alfie Boe, Jamelia, Blue, Elaine Paige, Diversity, Alexander Armstrong, Status Quo, Chas and Dave, Elaine Paige, Strictly Come Dancing professionals and more.
Guest narrators include Adrian Lester, Jane Horrocks, Honeysuckle Weeks, Julia Sawalha, Ian Lavender, Laurence Fox, John Simm and Bernard Cribbins.
A beacon lighting will also take place in General Gordon Square on Friday 8 May as part of a national event to mark VE Day.
