Enjoy free educational and entertaining theatrical talks at the magnificent backdrop of the Painted Hall in the Old Royal Naval College.

The characters present intriguing stories by the first artist to be ever knighted in England for his works in the Painted Hall, Sir James Thornhill, the famous and colourful diarist of the English Restoration Period Samuel Pepys, the architect who turned the creation of the Royal Hospital for Seamen in Greenwich into reality Nicholas Hawksmoor, the pirate queen Grace O’Malley who was finally pardoned by Elizabeth I at the Greenwich palace.

Talks are free of charge and suitable for all ages, run every weekend and Thursday evenings throughout July – September.
