Out & About in November

Welcome to the first Greenwichmums newsletter. I really can’t believe its November. I look back to this time last year when Greenwich Mums was just a twinkle in our eyes. We’d like to say thanks for all your support, our members mean a lot to us, we have big plans for the year ahead and would be thrilled if you joined us along the way! This Month we look at Hamster Bags

Hamsters are like pringles. You can’t have just one… and it’s a good job then that Hamster Bags come as a pair.  For the last few weeks at GMums HQ we’ve been getting to grips with a set of funky hamster bags and really love them. These nifty pannier pouches attach to the side frames of most pushchairs to maximise your storage space.  Now as we are a twin household with a wide load, I was unsure if these babies would work for us, however having taken them for a spin into many a shopping scenario I’d say they defiantly are. Made from strong but lightweight rucksack type material these bags attach using a combination of Velcro and easy release clips, they fold down into their own storage pouch and seem to be shower proof.  Navigating our lift and front door is tricky when on and full, but if yours is a single pram you’ll have no problem. We’ve packed ours with fruit and veg, clothes and yes even wine. The bags seem to relish every challenge that I’ve so far thrown at them. Max weight for each is about 5kg. Currently available in a few colour ways and directly throughwww.hamsterbags.co.uk  or Mothercare, Kiddicare and Hamster Bag” target=”_blank”>Amazon. Priced between £24.99 and £29.00 which we think represents really good value on the cost per use scale. Not only that, but most importantly you need never worry about a pram tipping up again. That is of course until your naughtier twin decides otherwise!
