The Museum of London and Museum of London Docklands is an award-winning, charitable institution funded by a variety of organisations and individuals including the City of London Corporation and GLA. They are Exceptionally family. friendly with activities and exhibitions that are often free, engaging and really suited to kids!
You’ll find baby changes, buggy friendly museum navigation and cafes and restaurants all suited to little people!

Weave A Story

What Does The Helmsman See?
Thu 5 & Wed 11 Apr, 11.30am – 1pm & 2-3.30pm
Take inspiration from the helmsman statue in our gallery to create a comic strip telling his tale and what he sees.
How Hamlet Came To Be

Learn about one of Shakespeare’s most famous characters in this playful storytelling session.
The Cat And The Rat

A mummified cat and rat were discovered in the museum in the 1890s. How did they meet? Were they friends? Use pictures to make your own storybook about their adventures!
Judge A Book By Its Cover

You are the star in this fun digital workshop. Use costumes to become a story character and then create your story’s front cover!
