One of the most successful ensembles of their generation, the Carducci Quartet performs over 90 concerts worldwide each year, as well as running an annual festival in Highnam, Gloucester. Winner of the Concert Artists Guild International Competition and Finland’s Kuhmo International Chamber Music Competition, the Anglo-Irish quartet is appearing at prestigious venues and festivals across the globe.
Alongside their own recording label, Carducci Classics, they have released a number of acclaimed discs for Signum Classics and Naxos. 2015 saw them receive a Royal Philharmonic Society award for a substantial project presenting Shostakovich’s complete quartets: Shostakovich 15
Highly celebrated for their interpretation of contemporary repertoire, the Carducci Quartet is regularly invited to perform new works.
