Shake-up the Summer holidays with award-winning theatre ensemble The Faction.
This event is suitable for: 4 - 7 years, 8 - 12 years, 13 - 16 years
This event costs: £80 (4-6 yr olds), £120 (12-16 yr olds)
At Summer Shakespeare School with The Faction, we are bringing our Shakespeare know-how to Blackheath for a series of interactive, educational and fun workshops based on plays by the Bard exclusively for young people.
The Faction’s workshops will help children to build confidence, make friends and bring these rich and exciting texts to life. All workshops will be led by experienced theatre practitioners from The Faction, who are Enhanced DBS checked.
10am-1pm
Will discover the magic of the fairies from A Midsummer Night’s Dream as they transform Bottom into a donkey. There will be a sharing of work for friends and family at 12pm on Friday 4th Aug
The cost for the week is £80
2pm – 5pm
Will be looking at a scene from A Midsummer Night’s Dream with a mix of text and movement to encourage them to embrace Shakespeare in a fun and meaningful way. There will be a sharing of work for friends and family at 4pm on Friday 4th Aug
The cost for the week is £120
There is a 10% sibling discount
