About this event:
Do you know why play is so important for children?
This event is suitable for: All ages
This event costs: FREE!
Today’s child faces enormous pressure. Rigorous testing on today’s child is certainly taking it’s toll on mental health. The next generation has a 10% likelihood of suffering from stress, depression and anxiety during their adolescence.
You may already be aware that the latest research confirms what we’ve also discovered – play and a creative approach to learning actually enhances concentration, build resilience and inspires creativity in children.
Pupils at the Greenwich Steiner School, however, are happy & healthy. We recognise the strains today’s child is under and work out of a model of child development that takes a much more holistic and preventative approach. Our creative approach enhances concentration, builds resilience & inspires curiosity in children.
We offer a modern, dynamic Steiner education for children aged 3-14 years. Our approach is unhurried and age-appropriate. We know that effective and life-long learning is made possible by playful approaches. When pupils leave, they are confident & sociable, well-equipped to move on successfully to mainstream or other Steiner schools.
Steiner Waldorf education is the fastest-growing alternative to mainstream education.
Why not come to our next Open Morning on Saturday 18th March from 10am-12pm and find out if our school offers the right learning environment for your child.
We look forward to welcoming you!
