About this event:
A three-day performing arts recipe of dance, singing and drama. You don’t need any experience, but you must have a love of performing.
This three-day performing arts workshop will give your child the chance to explore different styles of dance from lyrical to street, to musical theatre. They will learn how to express themselves through music and movement whilst learning how to dance and tell a story using student interaction, teamwork, improvisation and above all having loads and loads of fun.
Not only will the student learn different styles of dance, but they will also have the chance to bring along their own song of choice with a backing track, if they so wish, and work on how to express themselves through song. This, however, is not compulsory.
And of course, this workshop will not be complete without a little drama in the mix. Students will get the chance to do group pieces or even short monologues and work alongside the principal Anna Fiorentini herself.
On the final day, all participants will have the opportunity to invite family and friends along to see their mini showcase and some of the skills that they have learnt. Rhiannon Mosson, the Fiorentini agent, who has been responsible for our students getting leading roles on TV, film and on the West End stage, will also be present at this mini-showcase.
