About this event:
Greenwich Peninsula invite you to join Make Do and Draw and artist Jamie Julien Brown at the Now Gallery for a day of visual creativity to correspond with the Greenwich Pioneers exhibition.
A symbol of the pioneer, the FLAG is the first structure to be erected on a new piece of land.
Learning from world flags, navigatonal and nautical flags we will use coloured paper, ribbon, string and sticks to fill the Gallery surrounds with flags crafted throughout the day.
Transcending language, the workshop will explore international graphic techniques used throughout the world in this age-old symbol of communication.
Participants are encouraged to take their creations to stake a claim on their own piece of pioneered land in the surrounding Greenwich Peninsula or beyond
There are limited spaces so booking is essential, please RSVP here.
Details are subject to change so please make sure you check with the venue before setting out. Thanks!
