The Hive run outdoor holiday camps for children 6-11. Using gaming and mobile technology, our missions harness kids’ passion for technology in an outdoor environment.
Camps are fast-paced, hands-on and challenging! From whittling to fire lighting, potion making to geocaching, children use real tools to solve real problems with results they can be proud of.
Based at Eltham College with exclusive use of over 12 acres of grounds, our camps run during every school holiday (except Christmas).
Each mission is unique and includes different outdoor activities every single day.
Through storytelling, gaming and technology, we foster CURIOSITY, INVESTIGATION, IMAGINATION AND ENTERPRISE. We motivate children to challenge themselves in a playful and gently competitive setting and encourage them to think creatively to succeed in the mission.
After a fantastic summer with over 150 of our amazing Cadets & Detectives graduating, The Hive back at Eltham College during the October half term with a brand new mission: Agents of Greenville!
As ‘Agents of Greenville’, you’ll have a week to plan, build and run your city. You’ll take on challenges for the chance to upgrade your prototype. You’ll have to power the city, make it safe, build tracks, get the water system up, earn money, grow and trade for food, overcome natural disasters, fit in a forest or a beach and make it the most fun place to live in!
You’ll have to play and trade smart. Are you up for it?

Opening Times & Location
The Hive is running from the 27th October 2014 to the 31st October 2014 at Eltham College in Mottingham, South East London (SE9 4QF)
The school is based around a Georgian manor house and set over 60 acres of grounds with huge playing fields, plenty of trees and hidden areas to explore, beautiful gardens, allotments, wildlife and even a stream!
Our missions run from 9.30am to 4.30pm
We also provide extended care from 8.30am to 6pm
