So much to do this month, Mothers Day, Easter, Clocks springing forward, the list goes on. Let us help in crossing off a few of those with this months Out & About kicking off with treats…
You may have noticed that each Wednesday a lovely little MumsCard offer comes swooshing into your inbox’s and March will be no different. We’ve decided that March really is for mums and have teamed up with the best local pamper experts that we can find. So whether your looking to spoil your Mum, Wife, Sister, Nan, or even yourself – you’ll be sure to find a treatment to suit.
Not got a MumsCard? Fret not, you can order here. Now accepted in over 45 local shops, cafes, restaurants and entertainment venues. Its a real must for every Mum about Greenwich. Just look out for the MumsCard window stickers shown here on the right. If you have any suggestions of places that you’d like to see on the scheme or you own a local business and would like to join – then please do get in touch
March is also the month of International Women’s Day and to celebrate a Touch of Glamour is coming to the Trafalgar Tavern. Oxfam Greenwich, who have partnered with Chic Events are bringing an evening of pampering, cake and comedy to an otherwise un -glam Thursday evening. If you’ve booked your tickets already, as have I, be sure to come seek me out. I’ll be the one trying to work out how to eat cake without ruining the fresh manicure (inhalation maybe)
Another event you’ll be sure to see plenty of Greenwich Mums at is the TwinsClubPlus Nearly New & New sale. 16th March from 3pm at St Michaels Church Hall, Pond Rd SE3. Again more cake thank you can shake a stick at and lots of well priced clothes & toys through to books & equipment, even quirky gifts & stationary. Entertainment by way of Caterpillar Music. £1 on the door.
Last – but no means least – GreenwichMums have the wonderful Wine O’Clock on the 12th and our first Business Club event on the 20th. Business Club is a ticketed event so if you have said you are coming, but are yet to purchase your ticket then please do so here. We created the Business Club because you our members who own local businesses wanted extra support in networking. We hope that you’ll find the events enjoyable. Please do feel free to send in suggestions of what you would like to see at the Business Club, as we want to tailor these events as much as possible – so that you get the maximum out of attending.
